The installation was designed as a medium-scale production project, specifically engineered to fit the space constraints of an existing industrial building.
Dynamic rack system
- The plant uses a 1200 x 700 mm production tray, with a capacity of 9 blocks of 100 mm per cycle.
- Unlike systems with fixed shelving, this installation uses a dynamic rack system (8 x 1 pallets).
- The elevator and descender act as rack loaders, integrated with a fully automated transfer car that moves the racks to the curing area.
Rometa 2030 vibrating machine
At the heart of the plant is the Rometa 2030 vibrating machine, which features frequency inverter control, allowing the operator to precisely adjust vibration parameters. This rack-based configuration enables full automation, significantly reducing the investment needed in civil works and curing infrastructure.
Dry line and palletising
The entire installation is fully automated and managed from a central control cabin.
- The dry line is equipped with a double cubing station and a preparation table.
- For this particular client, the line allows palletising of 'lightened' packages via a carousel system.
- The packages then pass through horizontal and vertical strapping stations before reaching the forklift pick-up point.
Quality control and batching plant
- A continuous piece-height control system ensures consistent quality.
- The batching plant integrates the client's existing hoppers, with a custom-built weighing hopper added.
- The mixing unit was installed inside the main building.
